co-operative event hosted by Chester's 6 rowing clubs.

Over the next 9 years, as the Oldest Regatta in the World heads towards the 300th year since Chester Regatta was first recorded, we expand into a multi-day event offering a wider range of races including more Masters and Senior events. In 2024 we are extremely proud to be offering a free to enter Youth Rowing / Chester Schools Together event on Sunday 9th June, this offers school children from non-rowing communities a chance to compete at our regatta - for most of whom this will be 1st taste of competitive rowing.
Plans are evolving but moving forward we hope to offer Mixed Events, Adaptive and possibly more Sprint Challenges.
For 2024 we have included an Upstream Sprint Event (Sunday pm) to offer a challenging, exciting sprint element.
