- Chester Regatta is run under the guidance of RowSafe and British Rowing Rules of Racing 2023.
- Competitors must keep to their race time. This means prompt boating with no delays; boats late at the start will be accommodated as far as possible but Umpires reserve the right to disqualify crews if they are late at the start. Races will commence when paired crews are ready at the start and may not be in strict race order.
- For 2023 Quick Start procedures may be in operation...'Race Announced, crews called forward to start and immediately started as per Rules of Racing'
- The boating from the regatta site has changed from previous years, please review the event circulation plans. Competitors must bring suitable footware (Wellies / Sliders) as when boating wading into the river will be necessary.
- Coxes MUST be weighed (as per BR Guidelines) in advance at Registration (Sailing Club) open from 6.30am
- Substitutions must be registered with Registration (Sailing Club) before they race.
- BR licences must be shown at Registration by all event winners to get a Prize ticket.
